DAY 5

Good morning, today I will be moving to another town called, Khashuri which is the 9th largest settlement in Georgia.

Some pictures I managed to capture while I was in the bus.

Checked in to my hotel and stay in for the rest of the day. Look at the view from my hotel room 😍
DAY 7
Georgian National Museum

Fast forward to Day 7 as I only did shopping on Day 6. Visited Georgian National Museum (GNM) which is the largest union museum in Georgia. There are historic houses, scientific and research institutions libraries in Tbilisi and throughout different regions of the country. This museum holds the evidences of the oldest human existence in Georgia to a precious metalwork object unearthed at an archaeological sites (Source: homofaber, n.d.).

The photos below are, pieces retrieved from the tomb. When soviet union took over, it burnt down many places and artefacts but there were intellectual people who worked underground to preserve those original pieces by producing a copy to the soviet union instead of surrendering the original.

You can see from the picture above the number of victims during the occupation of Soviet Union.

These are coins from other civilisation as coins were used for business transactions in the past.
Before I wrapped up my visit, I came across these golds which are of high quality from 6,000 years ago.

Got myself a dinner at the nearby restaurant before heading back to the hotel.
The Georgian National Museum was a great place for me to learn their 8,000 years worth of history and witness the artefacts with my own eyes.
