Bahrain
Kicked off my 2022 trip with Bahrain, an island country known for their high quality of pearl.
My visit to Bahrain was a funny story, it was an accidental trip. My connecting flight was delay hence the airline offered a merge flight to Bahrain which I spontaneously took it! It was a short trip but I have managed to visit several places to learn their history and culture.
DAY 1
My favourite seat, 20H as it was more spacious and has plenty leg space. Feels like a “better” economy class flight. The best thing for me is, I get to alight first! So, highly recommend to choose this seating if you are able to!
Made myself a new friend from Russia on the flight! Glad to have someone to talk to on the flight to kill the boredom 👍

Ibis Styles Manama Diplomatic Area Hotel
Checked in to the hotel upon arriving and it was very spacious. The price was pretty affordable at around $40 for two nights.

Went to their supermarket to get some groceries and can we just look at how big their watermelon is? 😲
Got myself some dumplings for dinner and it was yummy.
After dinner, I decided to make my way down to the street near my hotel to take a walk and explore their night markets.
