Bukhara City

Day 1

Upon arrival, I met up with Mr Umarxon. I was introduced to him by his daughter (the previous airbnb owner) and he offered a place to stay at his house. We went back to his place for me to settle down my bags.

My room during my stay for only around $10 per night.

Mr Umarxon then brought me to Delfin went for a simple lunch since I was craving for fish. After lunch, we went to visit the city centre, minaret.

Bukhara Bazaar

We then went to the bazaar to shop around and explore the city. As you can see from the photos all their items are pretty much handmade.

Went ahead to see more paintings by the local artist at Miniature Workshop Location.

Came across this beautiful Minaret while on the way back.

Day 2

Bukhara Market

Made a trip down to their market to get some groceries for breakfast and lunch.

These breads are made using charcoal as you can see from the picture above.

These are our goodies for breakfast and lunch!

Breakfast made by Mr Umarxon

My breakfast companion, Mr Umarxon grandson.

Mirzo Usmon Masjidi Museum

This museum show how the prison cell look like in the past and some of their torture equipments.

Another museum!

This well is known as the Sardoba water. We were allowed to try drinking the water from it. Don’t worry, its all clean.

Moving on, it’s another market! >>>

Went home to cook my favourite dish, Plov together with Mr Umarxon and his wife.

Mulberry from the tree and we plucked a few for dessert.
